Preparing the module

  • Audience analysis
  • Setting performance objectives: The task, assessment standards & the conditions
  • Assessing the three domains of learning: skills, knowledge and attitude
  • Gathering, prioritizing, and structuring the content
  • Adapting to the individual styles and preferences of participants (metaprogrammes)
  • Planning time guidelines
  • Preparing yourself

 

SECOND DAY:

 

Morning session:

 

Conducting the Workshop

  • Setting the room and Seating arrangements
  • Creating the environment for learning right before the workshop begins
  • Five phases of imparting the learning: Intro, acquisition, practice, reflection, and commitment
  • Choosing activities: Games, exercises, simulations, case studies, small group discussions, role plays, visualisation,
  • Questioning and feedback skills
  • Using visual and other aids
